Popcorn chicken bites are small, crispy pieces of seasoned chicken that are breaded and deep-fried to golden perfection. Bite-sized and full of flavor, they're perfect as a snack, appetizer, or party food. Often served with dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or spicy mayo.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken pieces and marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, and baking powder.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and dredge each piece in the flour mixture, pressing gently to coat well.
  5. Fry chicken pieces in batches for 3–4 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Drain on a wire rack or paper towels. Serve hot.
